Most listening practice apps are English-only. If you want to practice in Spanish — or German, French, Italian, or Portuguese — the field narrows to a few real options. Here is what exists today, including our own app, SoundSteps.

Listening practice depends on recorded speech, and every new language means a new library of recordings. That is expensive, so most apps never expand. Hearoes, eargym, WordSuccess, and Cochlear CoPilot are all English-only. Speech Banana adds Korean, and nothing else.
Three options offer real coverage beyond English: SoundSteps, LACE AI Pro, and ReDi. Each takes a different path to get there.
SoundSteps is our app, so this section comes from the maker. You can practice in English, Spanish, German, and a growing set of other languages — full activities in each one, not a translated menu over English audio. Neurotone AI has announced Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Mandarin, Dutch, Polish, and Swedish support for LACE AI Pro, on top of English. Its own App Store listing tells a narrower story: it lists English only. Which languages actually show up once a provider sets up your account is worth asking about before you count on one.
The barrier is access either way. You register through a hearing care professional rather than downloading it yourself, and Neurotone publishes no consumer price — partner clinics list about $499 one-time. If your audiologist offers it in your language, it is a strong option. If not, getting access takes more work.
ReDi, from MED-EL, is fully free, and its store listing shows dozens of language localizations. It gives AI feedback on both listening and speech, works with any hearing device brand, and gets updates more often than any other manufacturer app.
It runs on iPhone, iPad, and Android. Check the store listing for your specific language before committing, since localization coverage and exercise depth can differ by language.
